Unfinished Marriage Story

Help the two parents push forward there kid in life with there chain of love!

Game is made for GMTK GameJam 2021.

This was my first ever gamejam and started using Gamemaker Studio 2 (and programming) one week before the jam.
Unfortunately I couldn't set up the chain mechanic and have not find any answer to what is wrong with my code neither on GMTK #game-jam-tech-help, Gamemaker #help_ Discord channels and on Yoyo Games's forum.

I have uploaded the game even in this state, because I wanted to show that if not much, but I could accomplished at least something (even just for myself).
